خلال وقت سابق تم الاعلان عن إيقاف خدمة Xbox Live Gold واستبدالها بخدمة Xbox Gamepass Core مع تأكيد أنه لن يكون هناك مزيد من ألعاب Games With Gold الشهرية وعوضاً عن ذلك ستحصل على قائمة من 25 لعبة سيتم تحديثها واضافة المزيد من مرتين إلى ثلاثة مرات كل عام :
